Origins

Nash Brothers was founded in the 1890’s by two Chicago brothers, Patrick A. and Richard J. Nash, who were committed to the initial building of Chicago’s young infrastructure, so vital to the growth of an emerging world-class city. From installing some of Chicago’s original sewers, to building portions of the city’s underground tunnel system to excavating and placing thousands of miles of conduit and natural gas pipelines, Nash Brothers has built one of the regions most reputable and dependable underground construction companies.

Evolution / Current Markets

Just prior to the beginning of the 20th Century, Nash Brothers began as a sewer contractor working in locations including Chicago, Detroit and New Orleans. As the years continued, Nash Brothers devoted most of its energies to the public utility business, working for companies such as Commonwealth Edison, Peoples Gas, North Shore Gas, Northern Illinois Gas and AT&T.

In addition, Nash Brothers has performed as a subcontractor for companies such as Power Construction Company, LLC, HBK, Level III, Badger Pipeline, Meade, Prysmian, and Utility and Industrial Construction Co.
